Bourne Mansion Wedding Photographer

The Bourne Mansion is on of the prettiest venues in Long Island to host your wedding reception.  It is located at 500 Montauk Hwy, Oakdale, NY 11769.  The venue can hold up to 300 guests comfortably, and the food selection is incredible.  When one of our clients asks us to photograph their wedding here, we simply swoon with anticipation for the big day.

We started this wedding day photographing the brides details, such as her shoes, engagement ring, wedding bands and of course wedding dress.  These small details help tell the big story as well set the tone for the wedding day.

 

Creative detail photos are important for any wedding album.

 

 

Candid images are some of the best photos we can take.  When you show your wedding album to someone we want them to feel as if they know you, we want them to feel as if they were there.  The best way to do that is getting as many candid images as possible.

Chateau at Coindre Hall Wedding Ph

We have photographed dozens of beautiful weddings at the Chateau at Coindre Hall located at 101 Browns Rd, Huntington, NY 11743.  They have beautiful grounds that all us as Long Island Wedding Photographers to be as creative as we want to be.  They are a one wedding at a time venue, which allows our team of professional wedding photographers and videographers to utilize all of the grounds provided by the Chateau at Coindre Hall.

At this point of the wedding day, we already photographed the fun Bridal Party photos as well as the traditional family photos at the church.    When we arrived at Chateau at Coindre Hall, I wanted to make sure we used as much daylight as possible for our bride and grooms couples portraits.  We took our time and walked around this beautiful venue, using a wide range of photography techniques and styles.  We try to give our couples as much diversity as possible when selecting images for their wedding album.  I love light and airy images as well as dramatic and creative photos some posed, some candid.  The reason behind this is, I want you to have as many looks as possible.  When we were walking around the venue, I noticed these beautiful brick columns.  The symmetry of this made me want to photograph the bride and groom here.  I love how the couple is in the center of the frame, while the red door behind them makes them stand out of the photo.

Carlyle on the Green Wedding

Carlyle on the Green located at 99 Quaker Meeting House Rd, Farmingdale, NY 11735 has so many incredible locations to create beautiful wedding photos it is hard to pick only a few for our post.

When we arrived at Carlyle on the Green, the bride and groom had just had their ceremony at St. Raphael Parish in East Meadow.   We photographed the ceremony in the most candid way possible, then took a few traditional as well as creative images of our couple.

After speaking to the couple prior to their wedding, we went over the timeline of her wedding day and it was clear to them what they wanted.  They wanted to take as many photos as possible prior to their cocktail hour.  So when we arrived at Carlyle on the Green we went straight into their fun bridal party photos.  The second photographer took the groom and his groomsmen off into the putting greens while the main photographer took the bride and her bridesmaids to the side of the building by the brick to take her silly bridal party photos.  We like to take some traditional photos of our bridal party as well as some more fun and unique bridal party photos we well.  These people are your friends and we want your images to show the real relationships you have with them.

After the bridal party photos, we moved on to some creative and candid photos of our bride and groom.  At this part of the wedding day, we try to use as much of the grounds at Carlyle on the Green as possible.  Utilizing the greens, pathways and lush greenery allows us to create beautiful and unique wedding photos that our clients will love forever.  I always strive to give as many variations of poses and styles as possible when photographing my couples.  Traditional wedding photos are the best of any wedding album, but creative images are Lotus Weddings bread and butter.  We love creating images that you don’t usually see.

Flowerfields Wedding Photographer

Flowerfields is a beautiful Long Island catering hall located at 199 Mills Pond Rd, St James, NY 11780.  It is a grand catering hall that boasts some of the nicest grounds of any Long Island Catering Hall.  Equally stunning indoor as well as outdoor ceremony spaces are ideal for winter or summer weddings.

We started photographing the Brides details such as her engagement ring and weddings bands they purchased at Tiffanys.  As well as the Brides wedding dress which she purchased at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and flowers which she used Flowers by Burton 

After photographing the details we made our way to Flowerfields to photograph the first reveal, fun bridal party photos and traditional family photos.

They held the ceremony indoors and it was quite beautiful.  We try to photograph this part of the wedding day as candid as possible.  Always on the look out for tears of joy from the guests and family members.  We always try to pay close attention to the mother of the bride, father of the bride as well as the mother of the groom and father of the groom and any siblings.

There are so many reasons we as Long Island Wedding Photographers love photographing creative and fun weddings at Flower Fields in St. James. One of the main reasons are that the venue has so many beautiful options as far as grounds.  From beautiful indoor ceremony spaces with a bridge and coy fish pond to lush greenery with open fields, you really can’t take a bad wedding photograph here at Flower Fields.

We started with the bride in her hotel room.  We always love to photograph the small details such as getting creative photos of the Brides engagement ring and wedding bands, the groom purchased at Zales.  As well as the Brides gown she purchased at Davids Bridal.  These small details help tell the big story of our couples wedding day.

Creative getting ready photos of our bride are some of our favorite images of the day. It allows us to get creative lighting techniques to create visually interesting images.  

 

After the getting ready section of the wedding day is completed, we went straight to the Inn at New Hyde Park where we set up, the first reveal.  I love these because it allows our couple to see each other prior to the ceremony so we can photograph the family photos and fun bridal party photos at the Inn at New Hyde Park, thus allowing the newlyweds and their friends and family to enjoy their cocktail hour.

There are many great reasons to have your wedding reception and ceremony at Ocean Bleu.  The outdoor ceremony space is on the beach, which is one of the most scenic locations in all of Long Island to get married at.  The grounds this Long Island Catering Hall are divine.  The beach makes the perfect backdrop for creative and beautiful couples portraits, as well as fun bridal party photos.  We tend to use Ocean Bleu’s cocktail hour area for traditional family photos.

 

Ocean Bleu’s secondary ceremony space is beautiful as well.  They use their cocktail hour space as the indoor ceremony space and it is beautiful.

 

The bride looked gorgeous in her Henry Roth wedding dress she purchased from Kleinfield’s in NYC.  While Body Rock Entertainment kept the party going all night long.

Westbury Manor Wedding Photographer

Westbury Manor is our home away from home.   We have photographed almost a hundred wedding at this beautiful Long Island catering hall.

Fun bridal party photos are always fun and Westbury Manor makes the perfect backdrop.

There are so many things I love about this night time wedding photograph at Westbury Manor.  Let’s start with Westbury Manor as the backdrop.  The windows of the Garden Room and Library light up the background.  The bride and groom stand together holding one another closely.  The brides Peter Langner veil flowing creating a very dramatic feeling.  I also love the brides Marrie Sottero Wedding Dress, it fit her perfectly and she looked like she belonged in Vogue Magazine.

After this night time photo was taken at Westbury Manor, we returned to the Manor Room which is where the reception was held. Body Rock Entertainment provided the guests with a night filled with fun and great music.

One of the perks of being a Long Island wedding photographer is getting to photograph beautiful weddings at catering halls like The Woodlands at Woodbury.  We have photographed dozens of weddings at this Long Island catering hall.  They have everything you need to have an incredible wedding reception.

 

We started the day off with the bride, photographing her wedding details, such as her engagement ring, wedding band, wedding dress and other small details.  They help tell the story of her wedding day.  These images are fun to take because they allow us to be as creative as we want to be.

 

Engagement Rings are one of my favorite things to photograph on any given wedding day.

 

After we photographed the details, I like to get a few photos of our brides prior to getting in her wedding dress.  The reason for this is, many brides often wear little robes that say bride or team bride, and this is just another example of looking out for little details that you might forget years after your wedding.

 

Getting ready wedding photographs play a huge part in the storytelling process.  I love how the light hits her face and showcases her beautiful hair while falling off in the background.  This effect really helps the bride pop off of the photograph. 

 

We made our way to the ceremony space after a few more formal photos at the bride’s house.  When the bride and groom see each other for the first time, it can make for some of the best candid wedding photos of the day.

All eyes are on the groom as he sees his beautiful wife for the first time, walking down the isle. 

During the ceremony, we want to take as many candid photos as possible.  Little glances across the pews, laughter, tears of joy, these are the things we are looking for.

After the ceremony, it’s time to get creative! We candid images are the heart and soul of any wedding album, but we also love creative and unique wedding photos that make you stop and say WOW!

Fun bridal party photos are some of the favorite images of the day.  Of course, we take a traditional bridal party photo or two, but being silly is much more fun.

 

Once we got to The Woodlands at Woodbury, that’s when we started with our beautiful photos of bride and groom.  We like to give you a nice variety of styles in your wedding photography. Romantic photos are always fun, but we like to show as much of our newlywed’s personality as possible.  Danielle & Collin were up for whatever and because of that, their wedding photos were some of the best we have every produced at The Woodlands at Woodbury.

We have had the pleasure of photographing dozens of weddings at Chateau Briand Caterers.  They have a Miami night club feel that makes not only for one of a kind wedding photos but for a great wedding reception that your guests will be talking about for years to come.

 

We started this wedding day like most, photographing the brides’ detail photos.  Such as getting beautiful photos of the brides’ shoes, creative shots of the engagement ring as well as the wedding bands.  These are small details that help tell the big story of our couples big day.

Photographing the details are just a really small part of our jobs as Long Island Wedding Photographers.  What I think is one of the key aspects of being one of the best wedding photographers in Long Island is telling the bride’s story.  I believe the best way to do this, is to take beautiful candid photos.

After the getting ready portion of the day is finished we like to get a couple of beautiful and creative photos of our bride’s right before they leave to the ceremony to get married.  These types of photos are our some of our favorite of the day.  They can be whatever we want them to be, they can be fun wedding images or they can be creative wedding photos or traditional wedding image, how we choose to photograph our brides are totally dependent on her personality as well as her likes and dislikes.

 

Our beautiful bride is ready to marry the man of her dreams. 

 

After the ceremony, we go straight to Chateau Briand were we prepare for the fun bridal party photos as well as the traditional family portraits.  These images are very important because when is the next time you will get all of your family together, dressed up, and in front of a professional wedding photographer?

Before your wedding day, we always sit down with our couples and go over the day’s details.  We try to find out what is important to them, and who is important to them.  We then plan the photography around that.  We do our best to do everything you want, while still giving you ample time to enjoy your wedding day.  We will put together a shot list for your traditional family photos so we can ensure no one, or no grouping is missed.  We will even tell you where and what time we will start these photos so you can inform your family members.

The Somerly at Fox Hollow Wedding

 

When we were first asked to photograph Courtney & Stevens wedding at The Somerly at Fox Hollow we were thrilled!  Not only is this one of our favorite catering halls in Long Island to work at but we really felt like we connected with Courtney and Steven.

We always like to start our wedding days photographing the details.  The engagement rings, the invitations, the wedding bands, wedding dress etc.  These small details help tell the story of our couples big day.

We always try to start every wedding day photographing the detail photos.

 

As professional Long Island wedding photographer, our job is to tell the story of your wedding day.  While we love creative wedding photos as much as the next guy, we truly feel that candid images are the best way to tell our newlywed’s story.

After Courtney & Steven’s ceremony, we were asked to take some photos in their church.  While there are some church wedding photos that are traditional, and of course we did these, we are always looking for a unique and different approach when photographing our couples weddings.

After the ceremony, we made our way to Planting Fields Arboretum for the fun and silly bridal party photos as well as some romantic wedding photos of our newlyweds.

 

Candid wedding images are some of our favorite photos of any wedding day.  They allow the view to take a peek inside the wedding day.  And really get a feel for what is was like to be there. 

 

 

Once we were finished our photo session at Planting Fields, we made our way to Fox Hollow for some more fun.   We planned tons of time for fun and creative wedding photos at The Somerly at Fox Hollow.  And we had a LOT of fun with this bridal party.

 

The Somerlys outdoor ceremony area makes the perfect backdrop for this fun bridal party photo. 

 

 

Right before the maitre d’, allowed the guests to enter the grand ball room of The Somerly at Fox Hollow.  We were able to sneak in this creative and candid wedding photo of our couple inside the room, showing off the great uplighting that Fox Hollow offeres as well as the brides beautiful dress flowing as her husband twirls her in a fun way.
